MISSIONS
Supporting missionaries in their gospel endeavors is a priority for Somers Baptist Church. In the Great Commission, Jesus gave one of His final earthly directives, commanding His followers to share the good news of His death, burial, and resurrection and what all that meant.

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Matthew 28:18-20

It is our privilege, in collaboration with other churches, to partner in the Gospel with like- minded men and women and their families. We do so in the following ways.
-
Consistently lifting them up in prayer.
-
Financially supporting them in their ministries on a monthly basis.
-
Hosting them at our services so they can share what God has accomplished.
-
Engaging with them for mutual encouragement about the work that remains to be done.
